The City of Shaker is hosting a Skate Your Turkey Off event at Thornton Park the day after Thanksgiving from 1pm-4pm. They would like the Shaker FSC represented there and I think it would be a great way to show off our club and maybe get some new members out of it as well! I’m sending this email in hopes that you and or your skater(s) will help the club out with this event.
Here’s what we need:
One or two people to be in charge
Creative helpers
A decorated booth/table (that can be used at National Skating Day as well)
To show off our club
To handout SFSC information
To offer an activity
Coloring, craft, something wintery…
To offer a goody bag/candy
Club Skaters to skate at the event wearing their club jackets
On-Ice Activity
