We are proud to announce that SFSC member Nathan Chapple has been invited by U.S. Figure Skating to participate in the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Novice and Junior Challenge Skate to be held in Salt Lake City, UT from September 12-16, 2018. Nathan was invited to participate in this prestigious competition based upon this placement at last year’s USFSA National Championships, Novice 6th.

This competition is sponsored by the U.S. Figure Skating Athlete Development Committee and Athlete Development Department as a developmental competition. The event’s goal is for skaters to experience an international competition setting. In addition to competing against other top skaters at their levels, athletes will have the opportunity to attend seminars and more.The competition will be held at the same time as the 2018 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic where Senior level skaters from across the world will compete.
