S.T.A.R.S., the official fitness assessment program of U.S. Figure Skating, is returning to Cleveland on June 11, 2016!
The S.T.A.R.S. combine consists of 15 tests in three areas:
1) Agility/balance/coordination
2) Strength/power
3) Flexibility
Registration includes an assessment, educational seminar, S.T.A.R.S. t-shirt and detailed report at the end of the season to track the athlete’s personal improvement and comparative statistics for each test level.
Past S.T.A.R.S. participants will have the opportunity to compare previous scores and see how their athleticism has improved over the years. New participants can use S.T.A.R.S. scores to see how they compare with skaters across the nation and to determine how they can improve. All participants are invited to attend this year’s educational workshop, “Taking S.T.A.R.S. to the Ice,” relating athleticism and athletic ability learning and performing on-ice skills.
