I hope everyone is doing well. We wanted to pass along some updates to our ice schedule.

Friday Ice- as we communicated earlier this week, we are consolidating our clinics into one Fire and Ice clinic to take place on Wednesday evenings. We have had a very strong turn out for our first Fire and Ice session, and we have received very good feedback on it. As a reminder, space is limited in this session, and we anticipate that this session will run near or at capacity, so if you have interest, we suggest that you register as soon as possible for the upcoming sessions.

Today, our ice from 4:30-5:00 and 5:15-6:15pm will be Junior ice, and for September 25 and October 2, our Friday Junior ice will be from 4:30-5:30pm.

Sunday Ice- Due to the combination of the city seeking to in the near future offer other programming on Sundays, and the limited attendance that we have had on our Sunday sessions, we have decided to cancel these sessions effective immediately in the effort to be responsible with the club’s resources. Plus, now that the Browns have once again shown signs of life, those members that choose to can now fully devote their Sundays to riding the emotional roller coaster of watching the Browns.

Finally, our second Saturday session (from 1PM-2PM) will now be a Mask Required session. Our Sunday sessions were all Mask Required, and we wanted to ensure that we had a weekend session for our skaters that prefer Mask Required sessions. We still have plenty of space available on our Saturday ice (both sessions).

Note that we have already reached out directly to those members who were signed up for these sessions but wanted to let everyone know now that these changes have been finalized.

One other thing to note is that starting Monday morning around 7:30am, the city will begin the installation of the new scoreboards, beginning at the north end of the rink (closest to the Zamboni garage). There will be minimal noise, but we did want everyone to be aware.
