A MESSAGE FROM YOUR SFSC ICE ADMINISTRATOR:
I hope everyone is doing well and prepared to have a great Labor day weekend. We wanted to pass along some updates regarding our ice times.
First of all, for those of you early birds who lie in bed each weekday morning waiting for 630am to come so you can get on the ice, we have good news. Starting this coming Tuesday, and going forward on weekday mornings, we will have weekday ice starting at 6am!
Secondly, we have reduced the time of the weekday morning sessions to 30 minutes (hence double the number from when they used to be an hour, and yes it was a shameless marketing ploy to try to get you to read the email). The price per 30 minute session is one-half of the 60 minute session. Our total weekday morning ice time is now the same (actually now 6:00am to 8:30am). Many have asked for this as it gives more flexibility to our members to mix and match to school and other schedules. This will also start on next Tuesday. If you have already signed up for morning ice next week, your single one-hour session has been converted to the corresponding 2 30 minute sessions. So, if you were signed up for the 6:30 to 7:30 am time, you are now signed up for the 6:30-7:00am time, and the 7:00-7:30am time. Of course, if you would like, you can go cancel and rebook these sessions so that it can best suit your schedule. Everyone has done such a great job complying with the club and Thornton protocols, and that was very much critical in us being able to work with the city to convert these sessions to 30 minute blocks. Please keep this up!
Thirdly, as a reminder- there is no ice on Labor Day, but we still have openings for all of our ice times this evening and this weekend.
Fourthly, coming soon is a schedule beyond next week- (we thank everyone for their patience here) and as part of that we are working to offer our clinics.
Finally, as a reminder, per a Thornton requirement, our ice is only open to our Home and Associate club members but we are of course still welcoming new members, so if you know others that might be interested, please send them our way (they can sign up for membership through EntryEeze).
As always, please reach out to sfsciceadmin@gmail.com if you have ice or system related questions or problems.
Thanks and happy Labor Day weekend!
