2023 Shaker Spring Ice Spectacular Signups

Please join us for the 2023 Shaker Spring Ice Spectacular, Hollywood: Then and Now – A Red Carpet Affair, on Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th. This star studded event highlights our skaters from the City of Shaker Heights Learn to Skate program and members of the Shaker Figure Skating Club.

Online registration is open now for Shaker FSC members and Learn to Skate participants and will close on Sunday, January 15th. Registration fee includes additional practice time, choreography and coaching, costume, keepsake program, and a digital video link from one of the performances. Ice show practices will be held on Sunday afternoons beginning in March.

Skaters who wish to try out for a specialty number will need to register before December 13. Please email the Ice Show Director at erin.schopf@shakeronline.com with any questions.

Specialty Tryouts

Thornton Park, Tues. December 13th (6-7pm)
Criteria:
– Must be full HOME CLUB member of Shaker FSC
– Must be in 2nd grader or higher
– Must have passed their Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field by the audition date
– Axel recommended but not REQUIRED
*All skaters that are full members of SFSC that had a FEATURE OR A SOLO in the 2022 Shaker Spring Ice Spectacular do not need to try out during this time. High school students who did not participate in the Ice Show in 2021 or 2022 will need to try out for Specialty numbers. Specialty numbers are not guaranteed to those who audition. 2023 Audition requirements for the 2024 Ice show will be subject to change. Ice show director decisions are final.
