Spring is here- which means it will be fall soon. Time to sign up for fall ice- ice for our Fall 2023 season is ready for sign up!
Sign up early (and often) to: secure your spot; get the largest discounts; and feel good about being proactive and prepared. Remember, you can always exchange your ice sessions for make up credits if your schedule changes. Make up credits for our 2023 fall season will be good until June 2024.

THE ICE– nearly identical to our Spring season running from 8/21 to 12/22
Weekday mornings from 6-730AM Club; 730-8AM Jr. Club
Monday evenings from 445-545PM Jr. Club; 545-645PM Club; and Silver Clinic with Sally (for higher level skaters) from 645-715PM
Wednesday evenings from 445-545 Jr. Club; 545-715PM Club
Thursday evenings Off Ice Strength and Conditioning with Jennifer Brand (see below)
Friday afternoons from 445-545PM Jr. Club
Friday Bronze Clinic from 545-615PM (for younger, earlier level skaters) with Ryan and Libby
Saturday Off Ice Strength and Stretch with Daria- 10-1045AM
Saturday mornings from 11AM-1230PM Club; 1230-1PM Jr. Club (note Jr. Club on Saturday is new for this fall).
All on-ice sessions are available in 30 minute increments. Some ice sessions are restricted by level- see the level definitions below. There are some days / times when we do not have our ice due to holidays or other programming at Thornton. See Ice+ for details.
All packages are for the same day and time every week.

Details:
Name: Off-Ice Strength and Conditioning
Description: This is an off-ice class designed to improve your figure skating skills and decrease risk of injury by developing and enhancing muscle strength, agility, power, explosiveness, total body awareness, balance and flexibility. Please be sure to have proper athletic shoes, water bottle and yoga mat.
Credentials: Jennifer Brand is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Bowling Green State University. She’s been training at the Mandel JCC of Cleveland for 14 years, working with a variety of individuals and athletes to help them reach their goals.
THE PRICE*

If you sign up for packages before July 15, 2023
– First 2 hours per week contracted, per family: $3 off per hour ($14 / hr price for members)
– Next 2 hours per week contracted, per family: $4 off per hour ($13 / hr price for members)
– Next 2 hours per week contracted, per family: $5 off per hour ($12 / hr price for members)
– Any ice contracted per week, per family, beyond 6 hours per week: $6 off per hour ($11 /hr price for members)
If you sign up for packages after July 15, the price is discounted $2 off per hour from a-la-carte pricing ($15 per hour for members). Packages must be contracted by September 15, 2023.
Packages can be paid in full at time of sign up or paid in installments. If pay in installments is selected, no payment is due until August 15th, even if you sign up with the early sign up discount.
All ice sessions will also be available on an a-la-carte basis for sign up starting on June 15th. The price is $17 per hour for members, $21 per hour for guests. (On-ice clinics are $17/$21 for 30 minutes).
WHAT ELSE IS NICE
All sign ups for both members and guests are done through Ice+. https://shakerfigureskatingclub.org/
All sessions can be cancelled before the start of the session for make up credits. Make up credits can be used for practice ice or clinics and are applied automatically when you sign up for individual sessions. Credits earned starting in our fall season will be good until June 2024. Sessions will be available for cancel / reschedule starting on June 15th.

Package sign up is open for all home and associate members starting today, and will open for guests on May 1.

* Price calculated based on skater’s membership status on time of sign up. If the skater is a club member on time of sign up, but then does not renew his/her membership, the difference in pricing will be assessed on July 15th.
